In solidarity with families affected by super typhoon Carina and Habagat, the Metrobank Foundation partnered with the Tanging Yaman Foundation to deliver food packs in Manila, Quezon City, and Rizal through their Helping Hands advocacy program.
P1M worth of relief packs distributed to 2,000 families in Sta Mesa, Manila; Brgy Damayan, Pasong Tamo, Urban Payatas B, Lower Violago-Payatas, and San Francisco Del Monte, Quezon City; and Brgy Manggahan, Rodriguez, Rizal. Metrobank Foundation Executive Vice-President Philip Dy led the distribution in Payatas, Quezon City, with the assistance of Fr Bong Sarabia, CM and the Ina ng Lupang Pangako Parish.
