San Jose Tacloban Church Reconstruction After Typhoon Yolanda

As though symbolically depicting the strength and resilience of Taclobanons, the seemingly unscathed façade of the San Jose Tacloban church belies the massive internal damage wrought by Typhoon Yolanda’s winds and 20 foot sea storm surges. A mere prelude to the shock and awe of progressively destructive scenarios unfolding as the succeeding photos suggest.
